The City of Princeton seeks to hire a part-time Emergency Manager. Hours average 10 per week, with scheduling flexibility based on assigned tasks and deadlines. The position is responsible for coordinating Reception Center training with HSEM, maintaining the City’s Emergency Management Plan, managing the EOC during an emergency, developing manuals and training materials, managing the department’s budget, managing the City’s AEDs, managing the emergency siren network, and performing EMR training for City staff and outside agencies. Minimum qualifications include two (2) years of post-secondary education in emergency management, criminal justice, safety/health or a related field and four (4) years of related experience. The applicant must obtain the State of Minnesota’s Emergency Management Certification within two (2) years of hiring. Salary $17,849.74 to $23,207.21 annually.
