2026 City Election Information
Filing for City Elections will be open from July 14th, 2026 through July 28th, 2026.
You can file at Princeton City Hall during regular business hours:
Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Minnesota Secretary Of State - Filing for City Offices
The City of Princeton General Election Open Seats:
Mayor, will be a 2-year term.
Two Council seats, both will be a 4-year term.
A Special Election for one City Council seat, will be a 2-year term.
Primary Election:
The Primary Election will take place from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on August 11th, 2026.
General Election:
The General Election will take place from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on November 3rd, 2026.
Voting Location:
Voting Polls for the residents of the City of Princeton will be at the Great Northern Depot, which is located at 101 10th Ave S, Princeton MN, 55371.

Absentee or Early Voting:
Absentee or Early Voting will be at your respective County Offices. Sherburne County Courthouse for Sherburne County residents and Mille Lacs County Courthouse for Mille Lacs County residents.
